These routes are an epic sweep through the incredible, unglaciated hills north of Marietta and west of the Ohio River.

There are multiple suggested runs and you can make your own as well. Just know that some of the key roads are

• SR 78 from Glouster or Burr Oak State Park to the Ohio River

• SR 676 west from Marietta

• SR 26 north out of Marietta as far as you can stand it

• Anything on either side of Route 26 that looks good to you and your bike. Some are steep and graveled, but the paved ones are reliably paved and whoopsey-daisyish.
